Gold and Silver on Sale, Silver Eagle Update
by Mark Schwartz on 01/04/13The world has put gold and silver on sale the past few weeks! Right now we have a decent supply of 1 ounce silver rounds priced at $1.75 over the spot (market) price per ounce at the time of purchase. What we don't have in stock you can order and lock your prices in with payment at the market price of your choice--especially popular right now are 1 oz. gold bars and 1 oz. Canadian gold Maple Leaf coins. 2013 Silver Eagles have not been released yet and are expected by the end of January/early February. 2012 Eagles are temporarily out of stock, but more are on the way! Happy 2013 from all of us at Northern Michigan Rare Coins! Just revamped the website to make it more direct--your comments are welcome as always..Mark

Is gold a good investment?--one analysis
by Mark Schwartz on 04/11/12Ran across the analysis at http://greshams-law.com/is-gold-cheap/ that briefly discusses how undervalued gold is as a function of its currency backing history. Whatever the shorter term consolidation and ups/downs, gold is still in a bull market and represents good value at these price levels.
